2020 Events

3/13/2020 All Cottages closed due to Coronavirus

As part of an effort to maintain social distancing and prevent the spread of Coronavirus, the House of Israel is closed.   All international houses will also be closed, and I’m sure you’ve heard of the many events that have been cancelled recently.

We are monitoring this evolving situation and will announce it here when we have a date to re-open. Of course, when we do re-open we will understand if volunteers prefer to cancel and come back once things have calmed down.

In the meantime, wash your hands and remember the unofficial official phrase of Israel, “יהיה בסדר”- yiyeh b’seder – everything’s going to be fine.

For the first time since 1935, all the Cottages are being asked to open on Saturdays, too. We are excited to be able to greet even more people!  However, we don’t always have volunteers. Please call in advance if you are coming specifically to the House of Israel on a Saturday.
